I am challanging myself to several aspects of what I consider spiritual disciplines during this season of Lent. I plan to take part in The Lent Challange that Rob has put together, continue with the Daily Lectionary Readings, and read the Goshen College Lenten Devotionals every day.

The Epistle reading in yesterday’s Daily Lectionary readings  was from Philippians 2:5-11. I found this to be most appropriate as I prepare to enter the Season of Lent.

AsI prepare for Lent to begin on Wednesday,  I am considering  some of the things Lent means to me — or why it is important to me.
