Transformation Means Re-Engaging The Neighborhood

Almost everything I read about Church Transformation (or Church Renewal as it used to be called) talks about how a Church needs to move “from maintenance to mission”. In other words, church members need to become more concerned about serving God and the community around them than they are concerned about maintaining what the Church is already doing.
