A Blessed Easter
April 12th, 2009 · Posted in What's Going On With Me · 0 CommentsToday was a blessed day for me and the congregation of Hopewell Presbyterian. We had over 130 folks from at least 5 different churches and representing 3 different denominations with various traditions come together for a Sunrise service and breakfast at 7:00 — then had a good crowd for worship at 11:00 with the Sacrament of Communion.
What a glorious way to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord! Thanks to Mac Atkinson – Quin Hooks , Brian Howard, and Chris Reeder for coming together to make this blessing possible for so many! It is my prayer that we will be able to always put aside denominational divisions — pray for each other — celebrate what God is doing — and work together to bring others to Christ as well as show God’s love to our community.
The Lord risen!
He has risen indeed!
