Pray For First Baptist Church, Maryvile, Illinois
March 8th, 2009 · Posted in Current Affairs · 0 CommentsFred Winters, Pastor of First Baptist Church of Maryville, Illinois, was shot and killed in front of the congregation before the 8 AM worship service this morning. The attacker then stabbed himself and several others with a knife — and are reported in serious condition.
While the facts about why the attacker did this, if he was a member of the Church, etc. are not yet known, it is a tragedy. Be in prayer for the Winters family — as well as for the cogregation.
