February 23rd, 2009 · Posted in SERMONS · 0 Commentsi preached twice yesterday — at Hopewell in the morning and at the Presbyterian Communiities campus in Florence in the afternoon.
The morning service at Hopewell was different than most services — I preached on the Acts 16:5 Initiative — a program from the Vital Churches Institute that our Presbytery is offering to churches. Several members of the Session and I spoke about the need for growth in the Church and how this program can help us.
