What’s Your Passion Bucket?

Todd Rhoades over at Monday Morning Insight has a thoughtful post today where he identifies certain terms that have made it into the Cramer-Krasselt ad agency’s “2008 Cultural Dictionary.”

One of the terms he discusses in “passion bucket” — which is defined as:

a metaphor for a job or endeavor that can fulfill one’s sense of mission and ambition

This reminds me of Frederick Buechner’s definition of a call:

“Your calling the the place where the word’s greatest need and your greatest pleasure intersect.”

On most days — and in most situations — I can truly say that what God has called me to be doing — working to bring His word, will, and love to the folks I contact every day — is my passion bucket — and my calling!

What’s your passion bucket?
