After 25 Years ….

In Fiddler On The Roof, Tevye asks his wife if she loves him. They sing about all the things they have shared — and at the end they agree that they do indeed love each other. The last phrase of the song goes:
After 25 years
It’s nice to know
Well, Sally and I celebrate 25 years of marriage tomorrow — and I know that she loves me and I her. I have certainly been blessed by her love for me and patience with me. God has used her and her love to make me a much better person — to change me for the better — to help me stick with the ministry when I wanted to give up — and to add to my ministry things I could have never done myself.
Like Adam was not complete until God created Eve, I am not complete without her.
Isn’t that what love is all about?
Yea — after 25 years — it’s nice to know.
