A Movie Weekend
May 26th, 2008 · Posted in What's Going On With Me ·Sally is in Camden taking care of her Mom (she may have the flu) and I’m here is Florence by myself for a few days. She hopes to come home tomorrow and we hope to go to the beach Wednesday for the rest of the week.
While Sally has been gone and I have been off, I have gotten some rest and seen a few great action movies! Sally is not the fan of action movies that I am, so I try to see them when she’s busy doing other things.
Last night I watched 3:10 To Yuma on pay per view. A great western genre movie with a lot of action — and a great ending. Today I went to see Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull — the fourth time out for Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones — and as always full of action. This one also reminded me of the importance of religion to a society.
If Sally gets home from Camden in time tomorrow we might go see The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian.
I’m glad we have a theater close to us that shows current movies for $3.00 in the afternoon!
