The Clock Tolls Midnight
March 30th, 2008 · Posted in Basketball, Current Affairs, Sports ·The clock struck midnight for the Davidson Wildcats — the “Cinderella Story” of this year’s NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament — as they lost to Kansas 59-57 this afternoon.
It was truly a great run for Davidson — and a great game today — but in the end Kansas outlasted them.
Now for the final four — and the four regionally ranked #1 teams battling it out next weekend for the championship.
This is how the brackets look now.
This is my projection for how it would look at this point in the tournament. Yikes!
