The Day The Bomb Dropped

Bill and Effie GreggThese are 2 members of Hopewell Presbyterian — the Church I serve — and 2 good friends — Bill and Effie Gregg. They are being interviewed about what happened 50 years ago yesterday — March 11, 1958 — when an Atomic Bomb was accidentally dropped in their yard!

The bomb did not have it’s war head attached — but it amazes me when I think about what could have happened!

Read about the incident at wikipedia and at the other various links.
