Souper / Super Bowl
February 1st, 2008 · Posted in Current Affairs, Football, Practical Christianity, Sports ·OK — I admit it — I love football — and will probably watch the Super Bowl this Sunday — or at least part of it.
Don’t forget The Souper Bowl of Caring — a great way for churches to work together to do something about poverty. What I love about the Souper Bowl of Caring is that it began with the youth of one Church — Spring Valley Presbyterian in Columbia, SC — and has grown into a worldwide effort to fight poverty.
As far as the game, I’d love to see the New York Giants beat the New England Patriots, but really don’t think it will happen! It will be fun, though!
