“None Of The Above” For President?
January 22nd, 2008 · Posted in Current Affairs, Politics ·
I got home from a meeting last night in time to watch the Democratic candidates for President debate. I was looking forward to hearing what they had to say about the economy, the war in Iraq, health care, and other issues that effect me and so many other Americans. I was hoping to hear something that would help me decide who has the best plan for our country. I was hoping to be able to move closer to one of the candidates “camp” and further from the “undecided camp” where I now find myself. I was hoping they would give a vision — a plan — and some hope for helping those in need in our country and around the world.
I was disappointed.
What I saw was bickering and arguing — pointing fingers — and very little to hope for. At one point I turned to Sally and asked if we were watching the debate on CNN or Monday Night Raw on the USA network.
It was sad — and I am still undecided. “None of the above” still looks like the best choice to me.
