Yesterday I posted about an article at the Pulpit Magazine blog that was about some practical steps a church can take to facilitate evangelism.

Here is the second post at Pulpit Magazine.

Some of the ideas include:

1. Hand out free New Testaments to your congregation. Give your members Bibles and encourage them to pass them on.

2. Offer an evangelism training class in Sunday School or at home Bible studies. Get the members trained on how to win people for Christ - and committed to doing it!

3. Take advantage of programs your church already does. A lot of times you don’t have to add new programs — just get the word out about existing ones!

4. Model through your lifestyle your priority of evangelism. If people see you are committed to evangelism, they will be more inclined to be committed to it also.

Evangelism is to be our priority as a Christians. Let’s make it our priority! You can read the first post at the Pulpit Magazine blog here and the second here.
