Top 100 Chrisitian Blogs

July 19th, 2007 · Posted in Christianity, Weblogs ·

I’ve found that reading Christian blogs is a great way to learn more about God, how to reach out to others with God’s love more effectively, and how to lead others in the ways of Christ.

Joe Carter at The Evangelical Outpost has posted his Top 100 Christian Blogs. I have read many — but not all — on his list.

Here’s my “short list” of my Top 10:

1. Rob’s Place — Rob is my nephew, and while his blog does not deal specifically with “church” or “church issues”, I like his take on things! I problably link to his blog more than any other!
2. Monday Morning Insights
3. The Evangelical Outpost
4. Pyromaniacs
5. Jollyblogger
6. Adrian Warnock
7. Monastic Mumblings
8. Rev. Mike’s House of Homiletic Hash
9. Challies
10. Mark Roberts

I don’t read every one these every day, but this is a good list for strarters!

Bill, I am deeply honored that you would include me in this list. I’m not sure if you’re aware, but I was ordained in New Harmony Presbytery in 1992 and also have ties to your congregation. Emory Cantey served on my ordination commission, and I had the privilege of preaching at Hopewell a number of times during the five years we were in Florence.

I enjoy your blog! And no — I didn’t realize the connections. The world is truly small!
