They Were Awesome

Last week I posted about the “awesome match up” between Florida and Ohio State for the NCAA Men’s Basketball championship. The great thing was that the football teams from Florida and Ohio State faced each other for the national college football championship in January — making this the first time teams from the same schools have ever played for both championships in the same year.
The outcome?
Florida won — 75-84.
That means that Florida has back to back national basketball championships and a national football championship at the same time!
Impressive.
