It Would Be Awesome, Baby

That’s probably how Dick Vitale would describe the matchup if Florida and Ohio State were to win their games today and play for the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship Monday night.
“Awesome” or not, it would be the first time teams from the same universities were to play for the national championship in both football and basketball the same year. Florida beat Ohio State for the NCAA Football Championship in January.
It would be a lot of fun to see history made as teams from the same schools compete again for a championship, so I’m pulling for Florida to beat UCLA and Ohio State to beat Georgetown today. Of course, the way my luck has been with this tournament , you’ll probably see Georgetown take on UCLA Monday night.
But Florida vs. Ohio State for the national championship? If not awesome, it would be pretty cool!
