The Purpose Driven Life — So Far

March 13th, 2007 · Posted in Books, Christianity, Practical Christianity, Purpose Driven Life · 1 Comment

Rick Warren’s book The Purpose Driven Life is a wonderful look at the purpose God might have for your life and how to live in that purpose. We at Hopewell Presbyterian Church have been looking at the book the past few weeks in a Wednesday night study as well as Sunday sermons on topics from the book. I’ve also blogged on each “day” of the 40 day chapters.

Hereare links for my posts on the first 7 days of the book — which Warren groups under the title “What on earth am I here for”?

Here are links to my posts on Warren’s first purpose — You Were Planned For God’s Pleasure.

Here are links to my posts on the second purpose Warren gives — You Were Formed For God’s Family:

Day 15 — Formed For God’s Family

Day 16 — What Matters Most

Day 17 — A Place To Belong

Day 18 — Experiencing Life Together

Day 19 — Cultivating Community

Day 20 — Restoring Broken Fellowship

Day 21 — Protecting Your Church

I’ve also preached 3 sermons so far on the topics from the book:

Live With A Purpose

Live To Please God

Live Together
