Still Not Persuaded

I watched “The Lost Tomb Of Jesus” on The Discovery Channel last night and — while I am the first to admit that I do not have an opened mind on the subject and am very prejudiced — I was not impressed with the evidence they presented. The names Mary, Joseph, and Jesus were much too common in first century Palestine, and I question why Joseph — who scripture seems to infer died some years before Jesus’ ministry — would be brought to Jerusalem to be buried.

Here is a better critique of the show than I could ever give — and here is a post discussing the interview show that followed the presentation last night.

Before you make up your mind about the “Lost Tomb of Jesus” you need to see and hear the rest of the evidence.

For a comprehensive and scholarly rebuttal of the film’s evidence please visit ExtremeTheology.com.

Read and hear the evidence for yourself.

Chris — Thanks for reading my blog — and for the link. I want to hear all the evidence — if for nothing to be able to carry on a conversation about it.
