Sermons On “Who Are We?”
February 18th, 2007 · Posted in SERMONS ·I finished a series of sermons today where we looked at the questions Who Are We? and What Are We To Be Doing?
Using 1 Peter 2:9:
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
as a starting point, I have given 8 things that being God’s people who declare God’s praises to the world might mean for us:
1. We are chosen to walk in the light of Christ.
2. We are chosen for ministry.
3. We are chosen to be the best.
4. We are chosen to worship.
5. We are chosen to be triumphant
6. We are chosen to be obedient
7. We are chosen to be different — and to make a difference
8. We are chosen to be changed
