Why Do We Do What We Do?

Here’s an article from the Alban Institute that asks the question: Why do we do what we do? The answers to why people support their Church are neither purely theological nor purely economic — but are a combination of both. We have to be willing to consider both aspects of people’s motivations when looking at how to get people more involved in Church.

The Alban Institute is usually right on target with their research — so you might want to read the article here.
