Join The War For Truth

What is truth?
That’s the question Pilate asked Jesus (John 18:38) — and it seems people ask that question many times. Sometimes people tend to define “truth” to be whatever they like — or whatever they want. Actually, I believe we need to present God’s truth to the world in the best way we can — through our lives, in our actions, and in our words.
I’ve been reading the Pastoral Epistles a lot lately — and have seen Paul’s admonitions to Timothy and Titus to defend the truth of Christ against the deceptions of others. As Christians, that should be one of our main objectives — defending, proclaiming, and living in the truth of Christ.
John MacArthur at Pulpit Magazine has had some wonderful posts on this subject. He concludes today’s post with the statement:

the Truth War is a good fight (1 Timothy 6:12). So let’s wage good warfare (1 Timothy 1:18)—for the honor of Christ and the glory of God.

Let’s all get involved in the truth war — defending, proclaiming, and living in the truth of Christ.
