Swimming Video

December 15th, 2006 · Posted in Humor, Practical Ministry ·

I got this from my nephew Rob — who works for Campus Crusade for Christ. He had gone to a Campus Crusade for Christ conference in Canada, where Leonard Buhler, President of Campus Crusade, Canada had shown the video.

Do you think they’re trying to make a connection between people who call themselves Christians but don’t really participate in the Christian life and don’t tell others about Christ and this guy who is a “swimmer” but not longer swims and refuses to teach others to do so?

See for yourself —

sorry for the miscommunication: the guy in the video is NOT Leonard Buhler. Leonard is the Pres of CCC-Canada and is the one who showed us the video. I don’t know who the guy in the vid is.

OK — thanks. I probably misread your entry. I’ll edit it.

Leonard Buhler showed this video during a talk he delivered at Campus For Christ’s Winter Conference in Toronto over the Christmas Break, 2006. It has a profound impact on me personally. Talking about how you love to swim, teach others to swim, only hang out with simmers does no good if you don’t actually swim, missing out on the opportunities to save drowning people. So powerful.

Yea — very powerful.

How often do you yourself swim and what stroke or do you just write about it?

Can I ask though - how did you get this picked up and into google news?

Very impressive that this blog is syndicated through Google and is it something that is just up to Google or you actively created?

Obviously this is a popular blog with great data so well done on your seo success..

Swimming greats you should write about next, my ex was an olympic swimmer!
