The General Assembly
June 16th, 2006 · Posted in Christianity, Church Polity, Prayer, Religion ·Before I leave for vacation I wanted to ask all of you to be in prayer for the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (USA) meeting in Birmingham, Alabama this week.
They are dealing with — and will be voting on — a lot of “hot topics” like the report from the Task Force On Peace, Unity, and Purity (aka “The PUP report“) and divisive issues.
