Spring Forward

April 1st, 2006 · Posted in Current Affairs, Humor ·

Daylight Saving Time begins tomorrow morning at 2:00 — so you need to set your clocks up an hour before bed tonight. Of course, you could do as a firend of mine claims he does and stay up until 2:00 to set your clocks — but for me it’s easier to do it before I go to bed.

But remember — it’s spring forward, fall back.

I “fell forward” one year not long ago and had plenty of time to work on my sermon the nest morning.

Or did I “spring back”?

I get confused about these things.

Anyway — it’s “spring forward — fall back”

Unless you live in some counties in Indiana — then you just leave it alone! Their “spring forward” is erased this time by their change from Eastern to Central time zone.

OK — are you confused enough now?

I know I am! I’ll just remember: Spring foward!

My oldest daughter lives in Indiana, now she is one hour ahead of me!
