South Carolina will play Michigan for the NIT Championship Thursday night. If they win, they will be only second team to win consecutive NIT crowns.
As I noted earllier, if South Carolina wins the NIT, and if either Florida or LSU win the NCAA Tournament, the SEC could have champs in both of the elite post season basketball tournaments.
Two SEC teams still with a chance to win the national championship. Another with a chance to win in the only other post season tournament.
And this is basketball, folks, not football!

Wow! You mean that Carolina could prove to be the 65th best team two years in a row?

Yep –espcially when you consider what “the other” university in South Carolina has done in basketball
