March Has Certainly Brought On Madness
March 26th, 2006 · Posted in Basketball, Sports · 2 CommentsI have given up on my NCAA Baksketball Tournament picks for this year! You may remember last weekend I was in 2nd place in the Tournament Pick’em game I take part in. But you also may remember I was concerned that would not last long.
Well, it didn’t!
None of my Final Four picks are going to the Final Four.
Not Duke.
Not Kansas.
Not Connecticut.
Not Georgetown.
I’m now in 14th place out of 24 paricipating!
O well! It’s indeed madness!
I do have one obersvation — 2 SEC teams (Florida and LSU) are in the final four — and could play for the championship. Is this the national championship in basketball or football we’re talking about?
And — if South Carolina wins the NIT — that could be a SEC sweep of the 2 post season basketball tournaments.
Well — at least Rob has someone to cheer for!
